Kiwanis and KKids plant and dedicate maple tree at GES in honor of new KKids Club - 12/06/2016

Today, members of the new K-Kids Service Club at Granville Elementary planted and dedicated a maple tree in the back of the school grounds. This is the fourth tree to be planted in that section of the northwest elementary grounds. The ~15-foot maple tree was purchased from Albyn's Nursery and Kiwanian Mike Flood helped to dig the hole and set it upright.  It matches the height of the other 3 trees which were planted last year along the fence in the north west end of the Elementary school playing fields near the parking lot off Granger Street.

The current membership  of the KKids club is 52, up from the 48 who joined when the club was chartered on Sept 13, 2016)....
